As I talked to people about my desire to have more creativity in my life again, opportunities started popping up.
A friend from work came up to me in the cafeteria and said, 'I bet if I gave you a picture of my house, you could draw it.' Tentatively, I said yes. I had studied landscape architecture and practiced for 10 years, so I thought maybe I could pull it off. So that was my first project.
This was the result: My first home portrait. Dozens and dozens and dozens (!!) more were soon to follow.
